Eagles sign UDFA receiver following rookie tryout

The Eagles have signed a receiver out of rookie training camp.
The team announced today that they’ve signed UDFA WR Keric Wheatfall following his rookie tryout.
Wheatfall was one of 19 players to try out during last week’s rookie mini-camp. Standing at 6’2, the Fresno State grad recorded 616 yards and four touchdowns on 38 receptions last year.
At this time, Wheatfall appears to be the only player from last week’s tryouts to earn a spot on the roster. Following the 2022 NFL Draft, the Eagles signed another UDFA WR Britain Covey from Utah.
Wheatfall now joins a massive wide receiver room that includes A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Quez Watkins, Jalen Reagor, and Devon Allen, among others.
