Nick Castellanos’ son hit by foul ball, shows he’s tough as nails

Phillies outfielder and resident baseball masher Nick Castellanos’ son Liam took a foul ball to the forehead last night and wore it like an absolute champ. We all know his pop is one of the cooler guys in MLB, and it looks like the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.
Take a look at Young Castellanos post-impact:
My lord, it looks like kid had brain surgery done a couple of months ago. I’d be crying like a bitch if this happened to me in public at that age. (DISCLAIMER: I have no idea what brain surgery looks like).

Nick hits baseballs with a bat with the best of them, but Liam has forgone the Louisville Slugger altogether in favor of his head. An interesting tactic, to say the least, but I won’t question the son of one of the best hitters in baseball.
I took a line drive to the dome in third grade, but that was a little league game, and I was zoned out playing first base, so it’s not nearly as cool a story. People always say they’re surprised I’ve never had a concussion, but I never got checked out for that one, so maybe it caused one.
Wait… what was I talking about? Ohhh, right, baseball.
In all seriousness, I hope the bruise is all Young Castellanos has to deal with. It can’t be fun getting bopped on the noggin like that. However, based on his demeanor, he’s doing just fine. Reds fans loved the kid, and it’s safe to say the whole family has been off to a great start in Philly.
Now all Phillies fans need is the name of the Padre that hit the foul ball so we can make his life a living hell for the rest of the series. Time to show the Castellanos family what it means for the city to have their back.
