Report: Eagles sign Pro Bowl corner, continue stellar offseason

The Eagles have locked down the other side of the field opposite Darius Slay.
Per multiple reports, free-agent CB James Bradberry has agreed to a one-year deal with Philadelphia:
Sources: Former #Giants Pro Bowl CB James Bradberry has agreed to terms with the #Eagles on a 1-year deal for $10M. A big-time post-draft addition, as Bradberry lands in a perfect spot.

The deal is reportedly worth $7.25M guaranteed with a chance to earn up to $10M.
The Giants recently released Bradberry after failing to find a trade partner for him during the draft. The 2020 Pro Bowler was entering the final year of his $43M deal and New York was desperate to dump his contract to free up much-needed cap space.
Bradberry had 11 teams inquire about his services (several teams offered more money), but he wanted to put himself in a winning situation and ultimately chose the Eagles.
The 28-year-old is coming off a productive two-year stint with the Giants totaling 101 tackles, 35 passes defended, and 7 INTs. He joins Darius Slay in what projects to be the most formidable CB duo the Eagles have had in quite some time — perhaps since Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown.
Slay leads the league in pass breakups over the last six seasons with 84. Bradberry is right behind him with 82.
Philadelphia needed to find a new CB2 after losing Steven Nelson in free agency. They arguably found another CB1.
Behind a revamped front-7, Jonathan Gannon now has two prolific corners who will undoubtedly take pressure off safeties Anthony Harris and presumed starter Marcus Epps on the back end.
