Colts working on deal with Nick Foles, potentially reuniting him with Frank Reich

Time is a flat circle. According to Zak Keefer, the Indianapolis Colts have had discussions with Super Bowl 52 MVP Nick Foles about joining the team.
Foles was previously with the Chicago Bears, who released him earlier this off-season after failing to find a trade partner. This move would reunite Foles and Reich in Indy, and make him the Colts’ likely backup quarterback behind Matt Ryan.
Carson Wentz has to be fuming over this move. It would now be the third-straight time in which he has been replaced by Foles, being just a few months removed from his trade to the Washington Commanders.
Wentz has had to watch the Colts’ ownership and coaching staff publicly bash him while still part of the team, and see them replace him with who is likely his biggest enemy in the NFL.
There’s no real shot Foles sees the field with Ryan under center next season, but 2017 showed us that anything could happen.
