Nick Foles would be a great addition to the 2022 Eagles

With the signing of quarterback Trevor Siemian to their roster, the Chicago Bears appeared to signal their readiness to trade Nick Foles.
The former Eagles quarterback looks to be the odd man out in Chicago due to his relatively high salary. This should be exciting news to any Eagles fan reading it. The Eagles could go out and reclaim the man that a beer company built a statue to honor.
Nick Foles has already had two history making stints with the Eagles
During his first stint with the team, he posted a record-breaking TD/INT ratio of 27 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions. On top of this, he tied the record for most touchdown passes in a game with six against the Oakland Raiders. His reward for this production? He was traded for Sam Bradford. Arguably the most insulting thing you can be traded for is Sam Bradford.
The second stop with the Eagles was even better. You might remember Nick Foles saving the team after Carson Wentz got his knee blown out against the Rams in 2017. Then he led the team to its only Super Bowl victory, earning the game’s MVP award.

You might remember Nick Foles running the most iconic Super Bowl play of all time: The Philly Special
That wasn’t all though! The very next season he took the team back into the playoffs. He led the Eagles to one of their most memorable playoff victories in the Double Doink Game.
For this incredible two years of play from the man known as Big Dick Nick, The Eagles organization gave Carson Wentz a massive contract. It made sense at the time. I swear. We had no way of knowing how much of a sullen loser he’d wind up being. Although in hindsight, he kept being a sullen loser.
So now time has marched on. We’re all a little older. We’re all a little wiser. We all know that if Jalen Hurts gets injured next year, there’s no way Gardner Minshew could lead this team to a successful season. It doesn’t matter how many radio hosts dress up like him. He’ll never be a good quarterback. Having a mustache and an attitude can only take you so far.
Nick Foles is the type of veteran leader and proven winner that could potentially lead this team deep into the playoffs if their starting quarterback goes down. We know because he’s done it before! Maybe he’ll do it again. Jason Kelce can dress like a mummer again too. We’ll just keep pretending it’s 2018. What could go wrong?
Even though they got rejected by him last season, the Eagles should reach out and see if Nick Foles wants to ride the pine one more time in Philly. Didn’t Nick Sirianni say this was a team of flowers? Well if you want flowers to grow, you need a hose. We all know Nick’s got one. Now we just need to let him bring it back to Philadelphia.
