Nick Castellanos son Liam continues impressive week in the stands at Phillies games

Liam Castellanos continues to be the most impressive member of the Philadelphia Phillies organization. After taking a fly ball off the dome like a champ, Liam was back on the internet during yesterday’s game, providing more content from the stands at Citizens Bank Park.
Just a few days ago, Liam took a foul ball right off his forehead and brushed it off like a fly, showing the internet that he’s tough as nails just like his father. The kid became a legend on the internet in a matter of hours after images were posted online with the baseball stitches tattooed on his forehead.
Just when you thought Liam had his night of fame online, during yesterday’s game he appeared yet again in the stands at CBP. This time, a foul ball game his way and instead of keeping it, he made sure it found the glove of another young Phillies fan in the stands.
This kid is incredible. Obviously, Liam has no use for a foul ball given the fact that he likely has a million baseballs and an unlimited amount of Phillies gear at home thanks to his dad but just watching this kid in the stands look out for the next generation of Phillies fans at CBP is heartwarming.
It’s also pretty impressive how baseballs keep finding Liam in the stands. At 34 years old, I’ve been to hundreds of Phillies games and have sat all over Veterans Stadium and Citizens Bank Park and haven’t even sniffed a foul ball, let alone two in one week.
The Phillies should be contacting the Castellanos family to get Liam on the payroll as their youth brand ambassador this summer. As a marketing guy, Liam is a gold mine. The MLB is struggling to usher in the next generation of baseball fans and Liam is the perfect kid to lead the charge.
I know he may be a little young but really, there’s not much he has to do outside of what he’s already been doing. Attend Phillies games, dish out baseballs and free Phillies gear, and put butts in seats.
As for the Phillies, they just got shutout twice by the San Diego Padres. Their grueling May schedule continues tonight as they open up a 3-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. No word on if Bryce Harper will be back in the lineup tonight, so Nick Castellanos is going to have to bounce back after going 0-for-4 from the plate yesterday.
