Disgusting Behavior: 8 year old kid cries on social media over the thought of trading Tyrese Maxey for Kevin Durant

Some guy posted a video of his eight year old son crying his eyes out on Twitter yesterday evening over the thought of Tyrese Maxey getting traded to the Brooklyn Nets in order for the Philadelphia 76ers to land Kevin Durant.
At first, I debated even writing a post on this because it felt wrong to totally bash a child crying, but at the end of the day, something needs to be said. I don’t want to see anyone coming at me for writing an article about an 8-year old crying. Blame the dad who posted the video in the first place.
I’m not the one posting videos of kids crying on social media, I’m just the guy commenting on them. I really don’t understand why it was posted or why he would do this to his son on social media to begin with. You are basically opening up the door for criticism and in this case, it’s totally justified.
First, this is exactly how I picture every single one of those Sixers Twitter accounts that never share real information about themselves. I wouldn’t be surprised if this kid was the account owner of “HardenSZN2k22” and “TyreseGOATED6969”.
Second, you cannot let your emotions get the best of you like this, even more so when there’s a camera in your face. This kid needs to pull himself together and go watch Kevin Durant YouTube videos and stop being such a baby. I know it sucks your dad is posting this video of you online to get his serotonin fix with likes and retweets while you sit there in a puddle of your own tears.
That is simply disgusting behavior from a parent, but let’s be clear on one thing:
There is no crying in basketball and your tears will not save Tyrese Maxey.
I don’t have kids but this is just bad parenting. You need to talk some sense into your boy. If Brooklyn wants Maxey and we get to land Kevin Durant in the process, then no one should even think twice about the trade package. You do that 100% of the time, every time.
This is the problem with the younger generation. This kid has no spine and clearly doesn’t know ball. Do your research bud. We are trying to win a title. Everyone is expendable outside of Joel Embiid.
You can never let emotions get in the way of making tough basketball decisions.
