Preview: Phillies bats look to stay hot with Aaron Nola on the mound at 7:05

The Phillies take the field tonight at 7:05, looking to win the series against the Washington Nationals. Aaron Nola (5-5, 3.13 ERA) gets the ball for the Phils, going up against Josiah Gray (6-5, 4.22 ERA) of the Nats.
The offense took care of the poverty Nationals on Tuesday night, as a two home-run night by Kyle Schwarber powered the Phils to an 11-0 win. JT Realmuto hit another homer, while Nick Castellanos, Darick Hall, and Alec Bohm all tacked on RBIs as well. Cristopher Sanchez got the job done for the team, going five solid innings, allowing zero earned runs, and striking out two. The bullpen continued their hot streak, throwing a scoreless final four innings.
It’s Nola Night in South Philadelphia, and the Phils will look to dominate the Nats once again. The team currently holds a playoff spot, after a win last night and a Cardinals loss pushed them into a tie with St. Louis in the Wild Card. Through 81 games, the Phils are 43-38, looking to build momentum and carry it throughout the rest of the summer.

Bats come alive once again, and Nola dominates. Phillies win 7-1. I have absolutely no idea why Phils -1.5 is -110, but please take it. That’s free money.
