Injury Update: 3 Phillies set to begin rehab assignments in the coming days

3 Phillies are inching their way back off the injured list, and could be back with the team in the very near future.
According to multiple reports, Nick Maton, Johan Camargo, and Connor Brogdon will all begin rehab assignments over the next two days.
Nick Maton began his rehab tonight with Clearwater, playing 7 innings at second base. The Phils lost Maton back on June 3rd, after an acrobatic catch resulted in a right shoulder injury, sidelining him for over a month. Maton played just two games in the majors this season but hit .500/.571/1.333 in that time (6 ABs).
Connor Brogdon, after dealing with COVID-19, will make his rehab assignment late in the Iron Pigs game tonight, throwing 1 inning. Brogdon has logged just a 2.04 ERA in 17.2 innings in 2022, tallying 21 strikeouts, while allowing just 4 earned runs.
Phillies utilityman Johan Camargo will play in Friday night’s Iron Pigs game, after going on the IL back on June 7th. He returned on June 21st, but only lasted 8 days, heading right back on June 28th. Camargo has slashed .230/.296/.317 on the year and has been a positive in an infield that’s struggled at times.
The Phillies got a huge win on Thursday night, as a Darick Hall homer powered the Phils to a 5-3 win, giving the Fightins their second-straight series win.
