Report: Two Eagles players will begin training camp on PUP list

With training camps set to get underway in just two weeks, players who won’t be ready for full football activities will be headed to the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list.
Per Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice, the Eagles will place tight end Tyree Jackson and OL Brett Toth on the PUP list prior to training camp.
By going on the PUP list, neither player will be permitted to participate in practice until they are officially activated. They will still count against the 90-player roster limit in the meantime. Unless they are activated at some point during camp, Jackson and Toth will be required to miss the first four games of the season.
Jackson transitioned from quarterback to tight end with the Eagles and had a strong camp last year. He appeared in nine games before tearing his ACL in the final regular-season game.
Toth, who tore his ACL in the same game, has filled in at the center and tackle positions for Philadelphia over the last two seasons.
