Kendrick Perkins ranks the top big men in the NBA right now…carry the hell on!

The modern NBA is typically dominated by exciting guard play. However, over the last few years, we have seen an emergence of several big men who have the ability to do anything they want on the court.
There’s not many to be named and we all know one specific big man that anchors the Philadelphia 76ers, but ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins managed to put together his list of Top 5 Big Men in the NBA heading into the 2022-23 season.
Let’s leave it to Kendrick Perkins to educate the masses. For as laughable as the national media has become, Perk is one guy that has grown on me, mainly due to his knowledge of the Philadelphia 76ers and more specifically, the lack of respect Joel Embiid received throughout last season. You can tell he actually watches the games and understands what is happening.
The real heavy-weight battle is for the top big man ranking. Joel Embiid versus Nikola Jokic has been the most heated debate over the last several seasons and rightfully so. Unfortunately, the national media and the other “NBA writers” were poisoned with advanced metrics and the “statsexuals” voted Jokic the NBA’s MVP yet again last year, completely discrediting the award one final time.
Kendrick Perkins has routinely broken down how Embiid is the better player.

“Joel Embiid is the most skilled big man this game has ever seen. Offensively. Period.”
Kendrick Perkins: Jokic has the numbers. But Joel Embiid, just eye test, looks like his his presence is felt more.
Shaq: No one is playing like Joel right now. Eye test. Joel is the baddest big man in the game right now.
To put into perspective how uneducated the national media is, ESPN had Bam Adebayo ranked as a better player than Joel Embiid in 2020. Nobody should ever take them seriously after that blasphemy—shoutout to Stephen A. Smith for the overused vocabulary.
Big Perk knows ball. Carry the hell on!
