Brandon Graham offered some advice for Nick Castellanos this morning regarding the locker room situation

Eagles DE Brandon Graham was on Sports Radio 94.1 WIP this morning and offered some great advice to Nick Castellanos regarding the Saturday night locker room incident with Jim Salisbury.
Here’s what Brandon Graham had to say.
“Man, just go talk to somebody in private about what it is you’re probably going through. Because I know it’s tough; it’s an up-and-down city. One minute you’re hated, one minute you’re loved. I know. I’ve been on both sides of it. You just gotta persevere through it all; you gotta fight every game. Since they talkin’ stuff today, I’m happy I got another game next week.”
In case you missed it, Nick Castellanos and NBC Sports Philly reporter Jim Salisbury got into a heated exchange in the locker room on Saturday night after Salisbury asked Castellanos if he heard the boos from the fans.
Everything about this situation is really stupid, and it got even worse yesterday. Matt Gelb of The Athletic went off the rails at Jamie Apody of 6ABC after Jaime posted the full version of the video. Although this Salisbury/Castellanos situation is really, really dumb, the Phillies beat reporter beef is absolutely fantastic in its own, sad, pathetic sort of way.
Nick Castellanos is still in a bad slump, hitting just .245/.290/.365 on the year with 8 HRs, 46 RBIs, 90 hits, and 20 doubles. He holds a -1.2 WAR, the worst on the entire team. His defense hasn’t been good, he’s lost at the plate, and it seems he’s very much in his own head right now.
If there are a few athletes in this city that are loved by the fans and know how to handle all situations, one of them is Brandon Graham. BG is heading into his 13th year with the Eagles and is ready to help lead the team back to the playoffs.
The Phillies got swept by the Cubs this weekend, and it won’t get any easier tonight as they face off against the Atlanta Braves, who are 58-39 on the year and now trail the Mets by just 1.5 games in the NL East.
