Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Twitter takes a shot at former 76ers player Ben Simmons

The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, the Philadelphia Phillies Triple-A affiliate took a shot at the disgraced former 76ers point guard Ben Simmons today on Twitter.
“Ferrous,” the Iron Pigs mascot, is seen nailing a jump shot in this video, and apparently, the Iron Pigs social media person woke up and chose violence today.
This video popped up just after the Philadelphia 76ers released their preseason schedule for the 2022-23 season, which coincidentally, they will be playing Simmons new team, the Nets, in Brooklyn.
I totally understand there are a lot of people out there that want to look forward and move away from Simmons, but when you have a minor league baseball team dunking (or shooting) on you in early August, that’s pretty damn funny.
In hindsight, we should have knew this was coming.
Ben Simmons will never shoot and literally heading into this season, we are seeing the same old song and dance from current Nets players coming to his defense saying that “Simmons doesn’t have to shoot to be successful” in the NBA. Yes, I’m looking at you, Seth Curry. You should know better.
The Iron Pigs sit atop the International League, tied for 1st place with Jacksonville at 57-45. Lehigh Valley takes on the Syracuse Mets tonight at 7:05 EST, while up in the majors, the Phillies face off against the Washington Nationals.
