Ben Simmons reportedly left the Nets group chat after the team asked him to play in Game 4 vs Celtics

New reports are out today that Kevin Durant asked Nets owner Joe Tsai to either fire head coach Steven Nash and general manager Sean Marks, or continue to find a suitable trade partner to get him out of Brooklyn.
According to Fox Sports NBA analyst Ric Bucher, KD wasn’t happy with Ben Simmons after the team asked him his availability to play in Game 4 of the playoffs last season.
Simmons, instead of answering, decided to leave the group chat, ignoring his teammates and coaches.
Ben Simmons Left Nets Group Chat
“Ben Simmons, they’re having a team chat for game four thinking he’s gonna play against the Boston Celtics, and from what I’m told, Ben just left the chat,” Bucher said. “They asked him, ‘are you gonna play?’ Ben left the chat. Didn’t even answer the question, just left the chat.
“KD is like, ‘This is who I’m playing with?’”
If you remember, Simmons was ramping up to prepare for the playoffs but “back issues” prevented him from doing so and the Brooklyn Nets were swept out of the first round by the Boston Celtics.
Honestly, this is the best report I have ever read. The Liberty Line joked at the time of Durant’s initial trade request that it was all Ben Simmons’ fault he wanted out of Brooklyn. Apparently, that turned out to be completely accurate.

It goes to show you how big of a loser Ben Simmons is, and that no matter where he ends up, no one wants to deal with his diva personality and to be frank, bullshit attitude.
Ben Simmons is a certified loser. Kevin Durant is a certified hooper. Plain and simple.
