Quick update today on Bryce Harper.
Bryce Harper will begin taking batting practice on the field tomorrow for the first time since injuring his hand on June 25th.
Harper had the pins removed from his broken thumb in early August and has been hitting around 20 swings off a tee on a daily basis. He was slashing .318/.385/.599 in 64 games before getting injured, with 15 HRs, 48 RBIs, and an OPS of .985.
Last week, it was announced that Harper would be a member of Team USA when the World Baseball Classic returns for the first time since 2019 next year.
