Schedule Leak: NBA Opening Night will feature the Philadelphia 76ers at the Boston Celtics

Over the weekend, James Harden beat Shams and Woj on the beat announcing that the Philadelphia 76ers are set to face the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Christmas.
Last night, Shams provided yet another schedule leak, announcing that the 76ers would be a part of the NBA’s 2022-23 Opening Night on TNT.
76ers @ Celtics – NBA Opening Night
The Sixers will head to Boston on October 18th to open the NBA season against the Celtics. The full NBA schedule will be released tomorrow, according to Marc Stein.Â
Last season, the 76ers and Celtics split their four-game series. The last time they traveled to Boston, Joel Embiid dominated the Celtics, scoring 41 points to go along with 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 blocks on December 20th.
The last time the Celtics came to Philly? Well, we are definitely not going to talk about that. Feel free to Google it if you like to endure useless pain and suffering.
We’re now roughly two months away from the Philadelphia 76ers season.
Buckle up, it’ll be here before you know it.
