Seahawks release 30-second hype video of JJ Arcega-Whiteside’s career highlights

After an agonizing three-year stint, the Eagles finally moved on from WR/TE JJ Arcega-Whiteside, sending him to the Seahawks in exchange for DB Ugo Amadi.

The writing has been on the wall for some time now, with the former second-round pick catching just 16 passes for 290 yards since entering the league. JJAW transitioned from wide receiver to tight end with the hopes of reviving his career, but no headway was made in training camp.

Arcega-Whiteside now has a clean slate in Seattle, where he’ll try to crack a WR depth chart without much depth behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

The Seahawks are doing everything they can to get excited about JJAW, having recently released a hype video of JJAW’s career highlights. The video was approximately 30-seconds in length and quite frankly, I’m baffled it was that long.

Kudos to Seattle’s social team; I would hate to be the sucker tasked with digging up JJAW highlights on NFL Gamepass.

In all seriousness, Arcega-Whiteside had a productive career in college and was a nice guy once he got to Philadelphia. He worked hard and tried to help the team in any way he could; it just didn’t work out. I wish him the best in Seattle.

He needs to run me my money, though.
