Roster Moves: Eagles bring back recently released cornerback

After trading Ugo Amadi to the Titans yesterday, the Eagles were left with one open roster spot.

The team filled that spot by bringing back CB Josh Blackwell, whom they cut on Tuesday to meet the 80-player deadline.

Blackwell signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent back in April. He’s had some pass breakups in camp and tracks the ball well. Consistency was an issue for Blackwell at Duke, but he possesses the speed and fundamentals to succeed at the pro level.
