15-year-old beats on Clemson frat kid in the stands, crushing his dignity

Most Clemson fans likely felt pretty good about their win over Georgia Tech on Labor Day. One fan, however, left the stadium with his dignity shattered by a 15-year-old kid.

How embarrassing.

We are in full “fight in the stands” mode with college football and the NFL season about to get underway. This is one hell of a start, with a frat kid fighting a teenager. It’s one thing to lose a fight to a kid who just got his learner’s permit, and it’s completely another thing to lose with the high ground.

Did he learn nothing from Obi-Wan Kenobi? Do Clemson frat kids not watch Star Wars?

Even if they don’t, I’m sure Friday Beers made a video using that scene to depict some epic pregame moment. So this is firmly on him regardless.

Even if he had been living under a rock for the past 22 years of his life, every toxically masculine urge in his body should not have let him get whooped with several women looking on.

Just a sad state of affairs all around.

I hate to kick the guy while he’s down, but I am writing a blog about his very public embarrassment, so it’s a bit too late for me to consider his feelings.  

On a positive note, I’d like to celebrate this kid’s in-ring abilities. If he isn’t a Gold Glover, I’m sure his phone will be ringing off the hook to get him in a gym and training.
