Polish researches uncovered corpses of Vampires held down with sickles over the weekend

In a scene out of a horror movie, archeologists in Poland have uncovered the medieval corpse of what is believed to be a vampire.
The Polish Vampire was found with a sickle across its neck, permanently holding it in place. In theory should the vampire attempt to rise, the sickle would have cut off its head. Not a bad way to keep the vampires from coming back from the dead, right?
Wrong.
Sure that would probably work, but why not just cut off the head from the start? There’s no reason to risk a vampire coming back from the dead. If that were to happen, whoever came up with the sickle idea would probably look pretty foolish.
Not to mention, then you can keep the sickle and chop off more vampire heads as you hunt them down, rather than having to continue to make them and put them to use as simply preventative maintenance in vampire graves.
Seems like a waste in my opinion but regardless, shout out to the sickle people because it definitely worked. This vampire corpse wasn’t going anywhere and has now been dug up with the sickle still in place.
“As far back as the 11th century, many believed corpses would claw their way back up through the ground and emerge as blood-sucking monsters.
This was partly due to the amount of infectious diseases, like cholera, around at the time.
‘People of the post-medieval period did not understand how disease was spread, and rather than a scientific explanation for these epidemics, cholera and the deaths that resulted from it were explained by the supernatural – in this case, vampires,’ said Dr Lesley Gregoricka, from the University of South Alabama.”

The old times were absolutely insane. You had vampires in Poland, witches in Salem, Massachusetts being burned alive, and lord knows what else. No one seemed to take these threats to civilization lightly and honestly, could be one of the main reasons why humans have been able to last this long on earth.
I would love to get back to the old ways of the world rather than whatever we are doing in 2022, with robots and tech overlords in Silicon Valley. It seemed like a much more simple way to live.
Anyway check out these creepy pictures of this Polish Vampire:
On a serious note, could the unearthing of this ghoul be the reason why those wolves escaped from the Cleveland Zoo? Wolves have been known to be at the the beck and call of these creatures of the night.
