Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie celebrated TD with sister’s gender reveal on Week 1 TNF

Bills receiver and slot god Isaiah McKenzie scored a touchdown against the LA Rams and celebrated with what appeared to be a traditional celebration. However, there was far more to it than met the eye, as the former fifth-round pick used the opportunity to scream “it’s a boy” into the camera, revealing the gender of his sister’s baby on national television.
The Bills posted a clip of McKenzie’s celly and his sister’s reaction after the game:
See, I usually feel most gender reveals are wholly unnecessary. But this one more than earns a pass.
This guy has been in the league for five years, and this was his eighth touchdown. The fact that he used a somewhat rare moment in his career to do something cool for his family kicks the whole thing up a few extra notches.
He managed to take a usually cringeworthy event into something I feel compelled to write a blog about. That’s no small feat.

Just looking at his stats, you know it was far from guaranteed. It was a massive risk, but obviously it paid off big time.
I’m extremely curious to know what his plan was. Did he tell his sister ahead of time? What if he didn’t score in this game?
If I was McKenzie, I’d make her wait until I scored a touchdown this season. If I didn’t score, she’d have to invest in gender-neutral paint and outfits for the newborn because she’s not going to know until that baby is born.
Now he needs to start planning his next TD celebration. The pressure is on; it’ll be tough to top that one.
