St. Louis radio host Vic Faust has terrible sexist, expletive-laced tirade caught on hot mic
St. Louis radio host, newscaster, and sad, strange little man Vic Faust outed himself as a piece of trash this week. He managed to cross almost every line imaginable both in terms of workplace conduct and basic human decency during a sexist, expletive-laced rant directed at his female co-host Crystal Cooper (awesome broadcaster name).
Vic Faust has some explaining to do.

While hosting a radio show last week, Fox 2 news anchor Vic Faust unleashed an off-air tirade of foul language, sexist remarks and personal insults directed at a female colleague.
Faust used profanity at least 40 times in a roughly four-minute rant that berated co-host Crystal Cooper for, among other things, her weight and her parenting skills.
“Well, it is,” Vic Faust said, when told the audio clip was profane. He said there was “background” to the story but declined to comment further.
The spark for Faust’s harangue seems to have occurred in the closing minutes of Tuesday’s radio show, which can be viewed on YouTube as a podcast. The station now has taken down its Facebook posting of the show.
The video shows Faust and Cooper engaging in an uncomfortable exchange after Faust had become irked by Cooper’s criticism of his computer skills, something that had come up on a previous show.
The confrontation quickly escalated off-air. Faust begins using foul language and tells Cooper several times to “shut the (expletive) up” and “shut your (expletive) mouth.”
He calls her “fat,” “stupid” and “nasty,” and repeatedly refers to her by using a curse word most commonly directed at women. Then at one point, Faust says “you’re nothing” and “you’re trash.”
When talking of her broadcasting skills, Faust says, “You’re a (expletive) mom, you don’t even know the topics we’re talking about. You’re just stupid.”
Well, first of all, fuck this guy. This is the definition of jitbag behavior.
What is it with midwestern broadcasters saying heinous things on a hot mic? First Cincinnati Reds commentator Thom Brennaman became one of the biggest memes of the decade after being caught using a homophobic slur.
Vic Faust should never put on that headset again, to borrow a phrase. You can’t treat anybody like that, and the profanity combined with coming after her abilities as a mother is something he needs to get smacked for.
I have to give Cooper a lot of credit. She took that all like a champ, like too many women are forced to in that business. Fortunately, this came out and her reputation remains squeaky clean.
I know a lot of on-air talent can be a bit testy, but this is completely different. I mean Vic Faust makes Mike Missanelli sound like Mr. Rogers. And he’s a colossal asshole that stole my cooking show idea.
He also looks like shit.
