Eagles Super Bowl odds entering Week 6
With each passing week, the Eagles Super Bowl odds continue to climb.
Before their Week 5 victory over AZ, Philly’s Super Bowl odds sat at +800, behind only Buffalo and Kansas City. Now, the Eagles are tied with the Chiefs for the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +650, per DraftKings Sportsbook. Buffalo, who opened the season as the Super Bowl favorites, hasn’t relinquished that title just yet. They’re still the odds on favorite to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February, sitting at +350.
When the Super Bowl odds were initially released, the Eagles sat at +4000. Their climb towards the top has been astonishing and if they continue their winning ways, they could become the odds on favorites to win it all in the near future.
Super Bowl odds, per DraftKings Sportsbook:
Team | Odds |
Bills | +350 |
Chiefs | +650 |
Eagles | +650 |
Buccaneers | +1000 |
Packers | +1400 |
49ers | +1400 |
Ravens | +1800 |
Chargers | +1800 |
Cowboys | +2200 |
Vikings | +2200 |
As it stands, the Eagles have the best odds to win the Super Bowl of any team in their conference.
Tom Brady’s Bucs are right behind them at +1000, but at 3-2 with a plethora of injuries on both sides of the ball, it’ll be tough for them to surpass the Birds in the oddsmakers’ eyes any time soon. The same can be said about Green Bay, who just fell to the Giants in Week 5 across the pond.
Eagles NFC East odds entering Week 6
Even with Dallas and New York notching impressive victories in Week 5 and improving to 4-1, the Eagles remain heavy favorites to take the NFC East crown.
NFC East odds, per DraftKings Sportsbook:
Team | Odds |
Eagles | -330 |
Cowboys | +310 |
Giants | +1200 |
Commanders | +5000 |
It’s hard to argue with the oddsmakers on this one. As the lone undefeated team in the NFL, the Eagles should be heavy favorites to win their division. The Week 6 matchup between Dallas and Philly could shift these odds drastically, especially if the Cowboys manage to hand the Eagles their first loss of the year.
There’s a sizable gap between New York and Dallas in the odds, mostly due to the Cowboys’ victory over the Giants a few weeks back. Nevertheless, the Giants have silenced their doubters nearly every step of the way this season. Their 27-22 victory over Green Bay was their best win to date and should get more pundits on their bandwagon.
As for Washington, well, I’ll just let head coach Ron Rivera take this one.
