Calum Scott wants to perform ‘Dancing on My Own’ LIVE in Philly for 2022 World Series

It’s no secret that the Calum Scott x Tiësto remix of Robyn’s ‘Dancing on My Own’ is the song of the Postseason for the Philadelphia Phillies and – by extension – millions of Phillies fans. One fan on Twitter asked the singer to come perform his version of the song here in Philly for the World Series.
Calum Scott heard the call to action and returned with an answer:
By all accounts, this would be sick. Of course, we would have to wait until the Phillies actually win the World Series for Scott to perform.
We all know what happens when teams blow their load too early with a live performance of a team song.
*cough* Mets *cough*
A lot of people are complaining about Robyn not getting the nod here. But guess what! I don’t care!
If the boys were vibing to her version on their way to a World Series berth, I’d say get her to The Bank. Instead, they picked Calum Scott, and so have I.
If they want to get Robyn in the mix, be my guest. But if you’re going to bitch and moan about who gets to sing a song instead of focusing on the Phillies in the WORLD. SERIES. then I can’t help you, nor would I want to.
Regardless, I don’t want any bad blood amongst our fan base, especially not over who sings a song, so let’s all just chill and enjoy the ride, people. Then we can enjoy dancing together with a World Series ring instead of dancing on our own.
Said? Said.
