Confirmed: Cowboys LB Micah Parsons wants to be an Eagle

Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons has stayed true to his roots during the MLB postseason as he cheers for his hometown Phillies.
Texas may be Parsons’ current home, but he was originally born in Harrisburg, PA and played football at Penn State, where he became a national superstar.
Parsons hasn’t been bashful about his Phillies fandom, tweeting about them throughout their awe-inspiring playoff run. Before Game 3 of the World Series got underway at Citizen’s Bank Park, Parsons posted a tweet predicting a Phillies win. Naturally, Eagles safety CJ Gardner-Johnson chimed in on his photo with the FOX pregame crew.
The tweet was deleted, but we have a screenshot.

Lane Johnson also responded with the eyes emoji, to which Parsons replied he was just showing home support. I don’t buy it though — if Parsons had the chance to play for the city he grew up in, I’m sure he’d relish the opportunity.
Just ask Lehigh-native Kyzir White and Camden’s own Haason Reddick, who both signed with the Eagles in free agency last spring.
Micah Parsons, last year’s DROY, is tied for second in the NFL with 8.0 sacks and is the current favorite for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
As for the Phillies, they took down the Astros 7-0 behind five home runs to take the series lead, 2-1.

Why are so disrespectful to the flag with things going so bad can’t we have some leadership with our hands on our hearts it would be so great I’ve had 6 brothers and 2 sons in the military and 22 others in the military family and 5 retired and they get sad to see such disrespect we need leaders!!!
Julie,
It is best not to assume. Maybe you should ask (those) some individuals why they choose not to hold their hands on their heart. The red white and blue is in support of some but definitely not all.
It’s not leaders that you are really looking for, but people who agree with your way of thinking.
To define an argument by inserting the number of people in one’s family who have served in the military, is similarly to concluding that one’s family and such, are/were the only ones that were seated at that table. Most USA citizens have a litany of past and present military family members. So if you are going to talk about the flag in a military sense, then get up on your soapbox and talk about its purpose and its meaning!
Talk about what the flag represents, talk about who it is meant to defend, and of course talk about being by and for the good of the people! Stop talking about what you want it to be, and start talking about the injustices brought down upon certain people who believe in the flag, but look to the humanity promised by its fulfillment! Tjbj
If he’s from Harrisburg how does that make Philly his “hometown” team? Mileage wise, Harrisburg is closer to Baltimore than to Philadelphia.
It’s closer to Ohio
Sure it is lol
Only if your going the wrong way.
Because its on the state of Pennsylvania, just like the Buffalo Bills are NYS only 🏈 team. The (NY) Giants & Jets play in NJ , just renting out the “NY” name paying NJ just not too call them NJ Jets or Giants, just like the bridges & tunnels(trains) sharing that pot of gold together. But all New Yorkers know Jersey teams suck outside of the NJ Devils. Hey… Let them keep the Jets & send back the Nets & take the Mets with yall and give us back the Dodgers or and S.F. both original NY(c) baseball teams
Whoever wrote this article is dumb 😂 Micah grew up a cowboy fan and he’s also and of the Phillies he hates the eagles He hates the eagles though.
So, Micah’s “buddy” who plays for the eagles says Micah wants to play in Philly. First off, the Cowboys just padded Mikah’ contract last year so he ain’t going nowhere! Secondly, Philly fans are the most classless fans in the nfl! So anything that come out of their liberty publication is likely a lie and more likely wishful thinking on the part of the the classless fans in Philadelphia.
This is stupid. The title of the article “confirms” Micah is an Eagles fan, but he himself said he is not and was showing support for a different team. But since the person who wrote the article and an Eagles player thinks that he likes the Eagles, it has to be confirmed because they surely know more about Micah Parsons than he does about himself
The only thing confirmed is this writer is an idiot and click bait headline is why people don’t trust the “media” way to do a disservice to your readers moron.
Nothing was confirmed. If that was true on signing day he would have said, “I want the eagles….confirmed…he said “I want the Cowboys‼️” Period‼️
Micah has said repeatedly that his dream team to play on is the Cowboys and even when he was at Penn he said he hopes he stays in the blue white
Who ever wrote this was smoking crack with Charlie sheen and partying with Kanye west and drinking beer with snoopy doggy and smoking blunts
You have the audacity to name names, and yet you remain in the dark as anonymous! What a shame!!
What a dumb comment. But this is what you get when every 12 year old has access to the internet
username fits lol
