Shorthanded Sixers add 23-year old guard Saben Lee on a two way contract

It’s no secret the Philadelphia 76ers are currently dealing with multiple injuries to their roster. Down two primary guards in Tyrese Maxey, James Harden and Jaden Springer, the Sixers opted to make a move following last night’s win against the Nets and sign Saben Lee to a two-way deal.
In a corresponding move, the Sixers waived rookie big man Michael Foster Jr.
Lee is 23-years old and started this season with the Raptors 905, Toronto’s G League affiliate. He played 40 minutes on Monday night in an overtime loss, posting 23 points and nine assists.
In seven games at the G League level this year, Lee averaged 21.7 points, 6.0 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.
