Injury Update: James Harden targeting return to action against the Houston Rockets Monday night

James Harden could be returning to the Philadelphia 76ers lineup in the very near future.
The Philadelphia 76ers will begin a three-game road trip tonight when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The team will yet again be shorthanded, playing without James Harden and Tyrese Maxey.Â
Luckily for the Sixers, Joel Embiid returned to the lineup earlier this week against the Atlanta Hawks and was responsible for the final 11-points of that game to earn a hard fought win. The Sixers are now 7-3 over their last 10 games and winners of three straight thanks to strong play from Shake Milton, Tobias Harris, and Paul Reed off the bench.Â
As we all know, Harden and Maxey have been out with foot injuries but it finally looks like The Beard is ready to make his return.
Harden has been out since November 2nd with a strained foot. According to reports today, Harden is targeting a return to action during the Sixers’ current three-game road trip. His return will likely be against the Houston Rocks on Monday night.
Harden is averaging 22 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds a game for the Sixers this season. It should go without saying that he will make a positive impact when he returns to action Monday night.
