Honestly, I’m disappointed. Saying that Pulisic put his nuts on the line to lead the USMNT into the Round of 16 was much better than him just getting hurt after scoring the goal that gave America a 1-0 victory in the match over Iran.
Still, I’m not really sure I believe Pulisic anyways. While someone should have told him to own getting hit in the nuts because it was funny and extremely badass, it looks like the injury was categorized as a “pelvic contusion”.
For those of you who skipped human anatomy class, the pelvic is the area right out your dick and balls so at the very least, the story just needs to be slightly altered by saying that Pulisic was ready to put his balls on the line to Make America Great (again) in the World Cup.
Regardless, Pulisic will be ready to go on Saturday as the USMNT faces the Netherlands in the Round of 16.
