Jalen Hurts ran for three touchdowns, bringing his total to 13 on the season which is one short of Cam Newton’s record that he set during his rookie year in 2011. Hurts finished the game with 61 yards rushing bringing his total to 747 this season. Hurts also tied Randall Cunningham for the most touchdowns in a season by an Eagles quarterback with 35 (22 Pass TDs, 13 Rush TDs).Â
Through the air, Hurts completed 22-of-37 passes for 315 yards with two interceptions. AJ Brown set a new career-high with 181 yards receiving on nine receptions, while DeVonta Smith added five receptions for 126 yards in the win. Brown now has 1201 yards receiving on the year, with DeVonta Smith totaling 901 yards.Â
A win is a win. It wasn’t pretty, but Hurts and the Eagles moved to 13-1 on the season, tying a franchise win record, and are just one win away from clinching the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Next up: The Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Eve.
