Preview: Sixers look to stay hot at home, host the Indiana Pacers tonight in South Philly

The Sixers look to keep things rolling tonight at the Wells Fargo Center, with the Indiana Pacers coming to South Philly.
Home Cooking: Sixers look for 12th straight win at The Well
Side Note: The Wells Fargo Center should be called The Well. Don’t like it? That’s fine but starting now, it’s the only name I’ll call that Comcast-owned hell hole.
The Sixers have been dominant at home this season posting a 15-5 record overall and winning 11 straight games at The Well. On Monday night, Embiid dropped 42 points and 11 rebounds on the heads of the New Orleans Pelicans, while James Harden added 27 points and eight assists.Â
Tyrese Maxey added 12 points off the bench for the Sixers in just his second game back from missing over a month of action. It looks like Maxey is slowly getting his legs back, but whenever Joel Embiid is calling him trash during media availability, it typically means things are looking up for the Sixers.

The Sixers are now 24-14 on the season and still sit in fifth place in a very crowded Top 5 of the Eastern Conference Standings. They are just three games back from the East-leading Boston Celtics, who got destroyed by the Oklahoma City Thunder last night.
Philly is 2.5 games behind the second place Brooklyn Nets, who have won 12 straight games, 1.5 games behind the Bucks in third, and just a game behind the Cavs in fourth.
Pacers look for 5th straight win
The Indiana Pacers will take the court tonight in South Philadelphia two games behind the Sixers in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday night, they beat the Toronto 122-144 behind a massive bench performance that outscored the Raptors 54-7.
Rookie Bennedict Mathurin led the way with 21 points while Buddy Hield added 19. TJ McConnell added 15 points and Jalen Smith scored 11 points with 11 rebounds off the bench for the Pacers in the win.

Tobias Harris has been absolutely killing our Sixers’ parlays. So whatever you decide to bet tonight, do yourself a favor and leave him out of it until he returns to that “sharpshooter” form that he told us to tell our friends about. Outside of that, we did finally hit on a nice 20+ point parlay last night in the three games on the NBA slate.

Of course, these odds were somewhat juiced thanks to SGA not playing for OKC, opening up the doors for both Dort and Josh Giddey to go crazy against the Celtics. Still, I think there’s a lot of value in the 20+ Parlays but maybe that’s just me over confident after hitting the one above.
