No Tailgating? Ban SoFi Stadium and the state of California from ever hosting the College Football National Championship ever again
Horrible news coming out of California. According to SoFi Stadium, there will be no tailgating at the College Football National Championship.
SoFi Stadium: No Tailgating for TCU vs Georgia
Let’s take a closer look
I mean at this point, I would just walk down the street and opt to get ran over by an airplane at Los Angeles International Airport or just keep going right into the Pacific Ocean. I mean come on. It’s the College Football National Championship. Tailgating is arguably as important as the game itself.
Now what? If you take a look at the map of Sofi Stadium, there’s purple parking zones everywhere. Where exactly are you supposed to tailgate? At the Ross Dress for Less across W Century Blvd on the bottom right?
Don’t think so.
Yeah. Let’s just not have the College Football National Championship or really any football games in California ever again.
You really think that people in LA are going to show up for a TCU vs Georgia game in the first place? I don’t. They barely attend USC and UCLA games let alone a game between a school from Texas and Georgia.
Now on top of that, you aren’t allowing people to tailgate either? What on earth is happening in California these days?
College Football, especially Big 12 and SEC College Football, is built on culture and tailgating and now you ship these teams off to Los Angeles and no one is allowed to tailgate?
Honestly, it should be completely illegal.
I really never understand different lot rules at sporting events. Back in October, if you were in a Citizens Bank Park lot for the Phillies playoffs, you weren’t allowed to sit, grill, or do anything besides stand outside your vehicle. If you go across Pattison Ave to the Xfinity Live! lot or a Wells Fargo Center, Lincoln Financial Field lot, you were allowed to do whatever you want. We’re talking a football field difference here. Make it make sense.
Anyways, all College Football National Championship games should be designated to the South, whether that’s Atlanta, New Orleans, Texas, Miami, or even Charlotte or Tennessee.
Literally anywhere besides Los Angeles, California.
