CJ Gardner-Johnson shit-talks everyone, including Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni at practice
Nick Sirianni spoke with the media today and touched on the Eagles defense heading into Saturday’s divisional round playoff matchup between the Giants and Eagles.
A funny exchange unfolded when Sirianni was talking about CJ Gardner-Johnson and his style of play, both on and off the field.
Nick Sirianni: “He even talks shit to me”
CJ Gardner Johnson was one of many great pickups the Eagles made before the start of the season. He logged a career-high six interceptions (T-1st in NFL) while only appearing in 12 games this season, along with 61 solo tackles and 67 combined.
CJG is no stranger to shit talking so Sirianni’s comments should come as no surprise however, Nick Sirianni talking about how it doesn’t just come on game day was pretty hilarious. CGJ and Sirianni apparently go at it during practice (all jokes), and the Eagles’ head coach has to remind him that he’s on his side as well, even though he’s standing on the offensive side of the field.
The Eagles take the field Saturday night at 8:15 EST looking to advance to the NFC Championship for the second time in five years.
