Shannon Sharpe tried to fight the entire Memphis Grizzlies team last night while sitting court side, completely embarrassing himself in the process
Trending: A weird event unfolded last night curtsied at the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers game at Crypto.com Arena.
Right before halftime, Dillon Brooks was seen yelling at Shannon Sharpe, who was sitting court side for the game. Members of security walked over to confront Sharpe and Ja Morant’s father Tee, who also joined the altercation.
Security was forced to restrain Sharpe, as the Grizzlies bench emptied with Steven Adams leading the the pack against Sharpe, who wouldn’t stop yelling at the Grizzlies bench and players.
Sharpe was taken into the security tunnel at the break, and talked about what happened between him and Dillon Brooks that ultimately let the situation boil over into what the videos showed above.

“They didn’t want this smoke, Dave,” he told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. “They do all that talking and jockeying and I ain’t about that jockeying. It started with Dillon Brooks. I said he was too small to guard LeBron (James).

Here’s an idea, ban Shannon Sharpe from ever attending a sporting event ever again. Or at least make sure he’s wearing a straight jacket and sitting in the nosebleeds.
They didnt want this smoke? Really dude? You’re at a basketball game watching two teams play. No shit they didn’t want any smoke. It sounds like they wanted you to shut the fuck up so they could play the game without your loud mouth annoying the fuck out of everyone.
Sharpe decided to make everything about him and act like he was a character in a WWE match instead of being a good fan and sitting court side without bothering the shit out of everyone.
Look, I know there’s always some shit talking going on court side and completely respect when fans and players exchange some “fuck you’s” in the process but this was a real bad look from Shannon Sharpe.
Honestly, what was he going to do? Fight Steven Adams? Sharpe is like, 50+ years old and Adams would have had him kissing the Lakers logo on the court in roughly 5 seconds.
Give me a break. Bad look from Shannon Sharpe. Show some class you idiot.
