Nick Sirianni spoke with the media after the Philadelphia Eagles beat the living hell out of the New York Giants 38-7, advancing to the NFC Championship Game.
Sirianni, who was fired up throughout the game, gave a very strong defense of defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, who at times, is heavily criticized on Philly Sports Talk Radio stations.

Sirianni is obviously going to defend his guy and after a game like last night’s where you completely shut down a Giants team after hearing all week how New York was “clicking on all cylinders” and that the Eagles had to be “careful defending Daniel Jones”, I’m totally cool with our head coach taking the podium and talking shit.
Much like Eagles fans, Sirianni was fired up throughout the game. Again, hard not to be after the way we wrapped up the regular season here in Phialdelphia. The Eagles hand’t played a meaningful game since the Chicago Bears in mid-December.
Note: By meaningful, I mean having everyone healthy and running a full playbook.
I’m sitting here watching videos this morning after being in attendance last night and the energy from Sirianni was incredible. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why anyone would not enjoy this.
While I love the energy, let’s also remember that the New York Giants are a very bad football team. Plenty of work left to be done but the fact that Sirianni is enjoying every moment and not scared of showing his emotions tells me that the Philadelphia Eagles are playing loose, comfortable football with full confidence, which is just incredible to see.
Nick Sirianni is free to do whatever he wants. Perfectly fine in my book as long as the Birds keep winning football games.
