Friendly Fire: Dallas Cowboys Twitter account threw Dak Prescott under the bus after last night’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers

Man, there’s really nothing quite like being on social media after the Dallas Cowboys, again, lose in the playoffs after claiming for months that this year was finally going to be “the year.”
Of course, the trolling is elite and the insults are tweeted and posted from every direction. However, you rarely expect an official team account to throw their own players under the bus.
Last night, the Cowboys’ Twitter account sent out the following tweet, a few hours after the 49ers beat Dallas to advance to the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dallas Cowboys Twitter Account on Dak Prescott vs 49ers
Ouch. True for sure. But ouch.
Dak managed to only throw for 206 yards on 37 attempts, averaging just 5.6 yards per completion while throwing two costly interceptions. Prescott led the league with 15 interceptions on the year while playing in just 12 regular season games.
The result? The Dallas Cowboys were eliminated from the playoffs yet again and the Philadelphia Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers looking punch their tickets to the Super Bowl.
Better luck next year Cowboys fans. Stop beating each other up after every playoff loss. There might not be many of you left.
