WATCH: Kyle Brandt rips Cowboys apart on Good Morning Football following their latest playoff disappointment

I like to think of Kyle Brandt as one of us. He’s one of the best voices in NFL discourse and always seems to align with the thinking here in Philadelphia.
He was one of the few pundits who rode with the Eagles during their magical Super Bowl run back in 2018 and he’s always gone to bat for Philadelphia when the rest of the NFL media sphere goes in the opposite direction.
Brandt is also a pretty big Dallas Cowboys detractor. Which, of course, only endears him to the Philly faithful even more.
Following Dallas’ latest playoff disappointment on Sunday, Kyle Brandt took the opportunity to completely bury the Cowboys on Monday’s edition of “Good Morning Football” on NFL Network.

“There’s so much doom and gloom, I go the complete opposite way,” Kyle Brandt said on the aftermath of the Cowboys defeat. “It was an incredible, wonderful season for the Cowboys, and I mean that. They won a playoff game this year, guys. That’s the fifth time in the past 27 years they’ve won a playoff game. That’s huge. You should have a parade today in Dallas. This organization is not about title games, championship games, or Super Bowls. It hasn’t been since I got my driver’s licence…
“And Dak’s sitting they’re saying, ‘This is unacceptable.’ No it’s not, it’s completely acceptable. You do it every year… You’re one of the highest paid guys in the league, you guys never do anything of consequence. It’s the very definition of acceptable…
“As far as Jerry, we wanna put on a show, we’re the ultimate showman. The best show you guys put on was tuning in to see how many kicks your kicker would miss. That was the most intriguing thing…
“And the worst part is, no one is surprised… It’s not that they just lose every year in the playoffs, it’s that there’s always this massive joke at the end of the season.. The Cowboys, since I was in high school, we keep asking, ‘This Cowboys team is special, this team is special.’ They’re never special. I don’t know if they’re ever gonna be special. Because Dak Prescott was wrong, it’s not unacceptable. Not only is it completely acceptable, it’s the Cowboys way and this was just the latest chapter.”
Well God damn, Kyle Brandt. You really didn’t have to drag the Cowboys that badly. But, you did. And for that, we love you.
