Joel Embiid is day-to-day after not practicing on Tuesday
Doc Rivers spoke with the media following the Sixers practice in Camden earlier today and broke the news that Joel Embiid did not practice and is considered day-to-day as he deals with a left foot injury.

Yeah I’m sorry but I don’t like this at all. The Brooklyn Nets are coming to The Well tomorrow night and this was supposed to be the first time we see Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid face one another on the basketball court.
Call me selfish but I NEED that type of closure in my life. I can’t have Embiid dealing with a foot injury just over 24 hours before he’s supposed to be stomping on Simmons’ throat in front of a packed crowd in South Philly.
The Philadelphia 76ers are ROLLING right now, winning 18 out of their last 21 games. They just completed a perfect 5-0 road trip and are 9-2 in the month of January.
The Embiid-Harden connection is basically unstoppable and our guy finally cracked the Top 3 on the KIA NBA MVP Ladder. The Sixers as a team just cracked the Top 3 in the NBA Power Rankings while moving into sole possession of the second seed in the Eastern Conference Standings.
