AJ Brown comes clean, admits he never learned the Philadelphia Eagles’ Fight song on Twitter

Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown took to Twitter after the Philadelphia Eagle’s NFC Championship victory to let everyone know that he still didn’t know the lyrics to the Eagles infamous fight song.
Somehow in spite of scoring eight touchdowns at the Linc this season, and witnessing countless others, he never really got around to listening to what the 70,000 maniacs around him were singing time and time again.
AJ Brown admits he doesn’t know Fly Eagles Fly.
Honestly, I respect it. Brown never took the time to learn the Eagles fight song while he was having one of the best seasons by an Eagles wide receiver in franchise history. All business, baby. He’s too busy rattling guys like the 49ers Jimmie Ward to be worrying about song lyrics.
If the biggest complaint you can come up with about your star wide receiver is that he hasn’t been at home practicing a fight song in the mirror, some would say you don’t have any complaints at all.
Plus, the Philadelphia Eagles’ roster is stacked with singing talent. Jordan Mailata, Lane Johnson, and Jason Kelce released a full length Christmas album that made it to number one on the holiday album charts, so do we really need another player singing?
Of course, the second he hit send on that tweet, several thousand people were immediately typing out the lyrics and probably DMing him as well. His inbox most likely has more spelling variations of the words Eagles, Fight and Victory than we can possibly imagine.
There’s really no better time to learn it now that we have reached the Super Bowl. When the Eagles dog walk the Kansas City Chiefs in Arizona, I have no doubt in my mind that Brown will be ready to sing “Fly Eagles Fly” on the biggest night of his life.
