According to reports, the Philadelphia 76ers have reached out to the Detroit Pistons to check on Nerlens Noel’s availability before the February 9th trade deadline.

Sixers are one of six teams to reach out to the Detroit Pistons about Nerlens Noel
Per league sources, the Heat, Nuggets, Mavericks, Kings, 76ers and Celtics have recently called the Pistons and inquired about Noel.” – James Edwards of The Athletic
Noel, now a veteran in the league, really doesn’t get much playing time as a member of the Pistons, who are rebuilding and focusing on developing their young talent. He’s averaging 2.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game over 13 minutes of action.
A reunion with Noel would be welcomed. He spent his first 2.5 seasons in Philadelphia and has a very strong relationship with Joel Embiid. Noel’s defensive abilities are certainly intriguing with a career average of 1.5 blocks per game. He’s also a viable lob threat for the second unit and more specifically, James Harden who could certainly use that skill set in the Sixers’ pick-and-roll offense.
