Multiple Chiefs players battling a mild illness ahead of Super Bowl LVII
Reports coming out of Phoenix, Arizona, indicate that the Kansas City Chiefs are battling mild illnesses ahead of Super Bowl LVII on Sunday.
Illness Spreading Through The Kansas City Chiefs Locker Room
“I had a chance to talk to Chris Jones yesterday and he told me, ‘I am not feeling very well.’ Dry eyes, runny nose, sore throat,” Palmer said. “We’ll see how things go today when he hits the podium and see if he’s feeling any better because he is a key part to this defense and a key part of how things can go down for this game in Super Bowl 57.”
I’m not totally ready to blame the Chinese Spy Balloon for making everyone on Kansas City’s roster sick, but I’m certainly not going to rule it out, either.
This could all simply be smoke and mirrors ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl, but definitely worth monitoring as we head into the weekend.
