Baseball is Back: Phillies starting lineups for today’s split-squad games

Phillies baseball is back.
It’s Opening Day down in Clearwater as the Phillies welcome the New York Yankees to Baycare Ballpark for a split-squad game. Half of the team will remain home in Clearwater, while the other half will travel to take on the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland.

Marsh, Bohm, Hall, Sosa, and Stubbs will get their first live-action of the spring at home, with new Phillies Josh Harrison and Jake Cave in the lineup as well. On the road, Nick Castellanos will hit 2nd, while Dalton Guthrie, Rafael Marchan, and Scott Kingery will be in the lineup as well, along with Simon Muzziotti, Jhailyn Ortiz, and Kody Clemens.
Nick Nelson will throw in Clearwater vs. the Yankees, and Michael Plassmeyer will get the start in Lakeland vs. the Tigers. Both pitchers are expected to go two innings max, with other pitchers set to throw today as well, possibly including Griff McGarry and Mick Abel.
Today’s home game vs. the Yankees will be broadcasted on NBC Sports Philadelphia and 94.1 WIP, while the Tigers game will only be on Tigers radio and MLB.tv.
If you’re a real sicko like me, you’ve already found out that you can’t bet on split-squad games. Bummer.
