New York Rangers fans took over the Wells Fargo Center and I’m glad it happened

Fans of the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers couldn’t be on more opposite ends of the spectrum. New York went out and acquired Vladimir Tarasenko and Patrick Kane, while the Flyers are demanding an overpay for Nick Seeler.
The New York fanbase is eager to watch their newly formed super-team in action and Flyers fans are barely hanging on by a thread.
What’s the result of this? Well… see for yourself.
In all my years as a fan I’ve never been this embarrassed to be in our own building. Fuck Comcast! They destroyed this team and culture! #SellTheTeam #Flyers pic.twitter.com/PQzRmpaQdt

I think every Flyers fan feels how Traci Tooley does here. It’s a true example of this organizations fall from grace and how low the morale has been as of late. Not a single Flyers fan should want to see this, but I’m glad it happened.
It’s the result of a lack of direction, clarity, and ability to give the fans what they desire. Every single metropolitan division team is doing victory laps around us including the lowly Blue Jackets who have more talent coming down the line.
The Flyers announced to the world they are selling and since then we’ve watched one of the craziest trade deadlines transpire without a peep from Chuck Fletcher. JVR was seemingly on a flight to Minnesota yet played last night while the market on him dries up by the day.
Chuck Fletcher on the possibility of sitting JVR tonight: “We never even considered it. I’m going to put the best team I can on the ice.”

There’s no benefit of the doubt given to this organization anymore. Why should anyone have faith in Chuck Fletcher to time this correctly and cash in on assets? Even if he gets it done, why should anyone have faith in his negotiating skills?
At the end of the day this is a clear message to those who sit at the top. It’s one thing to comment on their twitter threads and dunk on them, but it’s another thing to see it on display like that.
New York will enjoy watching a deep playoff run with some of the greatest players in the game. Philadelphia will watch nothing, because the game will be blacked out on TNT.
This is what I got on my TV when I just flipped over to @NHL_On_TNT to check out the Flyers game. Maybe they’re doing me a favor. pic.twitter.com/ZMNtdxvmZZ
