Preview: Philadelphia 76ers look for sixth straight win in Cleveland tonight against the Cavaliers

The Philadelphia 76ers will look to win their SIXTH (my bad stop yelling at me) straight game tonight as they travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers.
The Sixers sit just 3.5 games behind the top seed in the Eastern Conference in the Milwaukee Bucks and are only one game behind the Boston Celtics in second.
Tonight, Philadelphia will face the Cavaliers, who sit in fourth place in the East, three games behind the Sixers. The Cavs will enter tonight on the second leg of a back-to-back after defeating the Charlotte Hornets last night 120-104.

The Sixers have won 11-of-14 games and wrapped up a five game road trip last week earning wins against the Bucks, Pacers, and T-Wolves before returning home and beating the Blazers and Wizards.
Now, Cleveland is stop number one on a three game road trip that will send them to Charlotte and back to Indiana later this week.
As the Philadelphia 76ers go, so does Joel Embiid. The should-be MVP favorite dropped 34 points on the heads of the Wizards on Sunday night and has led the Sixers in scoring the past four games. The previous three before Washington, he scored 39 or more points.
On the year, Embiid is dominating the NBA yet again, leading the league in scoring at 33.4 points per game to go along with 10 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.
I’m not going to discuss the MVP Award in this article, but if you’re in Philadelphia and reading this preview, then you already know my thoughts on the topic.
What to watch tonight:
Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen both sat last night against Charlotte, likely preparing for tonight’s playoff matchup against the Sixers. Mitchell is averaging 27.6 points, 4.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game, followed by Darius Garland (22.1 PPG) and Evan Mobley (16 PPG).

The last time the Sixers were in Cleveland they got absolutely destroyed, losing 113-85. Embiid was held to just 19 points, which was one of his worst outing of the year.
Tonight should be different. The Philadelphia 76ers are healthy and playing great basketball.
