WATCH: Wild scene from Augusta National as a tree falls down during Friday’s play at The Masters

Augusta National was hit with some crazy weather during Friday’s play at The Masters, which forced an evacuation from the course due to thunderstorms entering the area.
On the 17th tee at Augusta National, a tree fell down too close for comfort for group of patrons watching the tournament.Â

Augusta was hit with an inclement weather delay and then restarted on and off for the remainder of Friday. Right now, we’re currently under another delay as thunderstorms have forced an evacuation from the course.
I guess a silver lining here is that the tree fell down next to the members tees and away from the Tournament tee boxes so it could have been a lot worse. Still, pretty wild to see from the sacred grounds of Augusta National.Â
