Game one of the Philadelphia Phillies three-game series in Chicago was postponed last night due to inclement weather, forcing a straight double header today against the White Sox.
Zack Wheeler will take the mound in Game 1 starting at 4:10 PM.

Phillies bats look to stay hot in Chicago
The Phillies bats came alive on Sunday afternoon, crushing 23 hits and plating 14 runners in lead to a 14-2 win to split the series against the Cincinnati Reds.
Everyone in the Phillies’ starting lineup notched at least one RBI, while Trea Turner, Bryson Stott, and Brandon Marsh combined for 10 hits. Alec Bohm and JT Realmuto each tacked on three hits of their own in the route of the Reds.
It’s been a rollercoaster ride for the Phillies through the first 16 games of the season. One night, they will be unstoppable from the plate, and the next night the lineup won’t be able to get a hit to save their lives. Consistency is a major reason the Phillies are 6.5 games out of first place in the NL East but as. we all know, it’s still too early in the season to really care about the standings.

The daycare continues to lead the way for the Phillies, as Bryson Stott, Alec Bohm, and Brandon Marsh have been the backbones of the offense to start the season. Stott is slashing .380/.389/.507, Alec Bohm is hitting .350 and leads the team in RBIs, while Brandon Marsh is slugging .756 on the season, which is good for the best in Major League Baseball.
The White Sox will enter today at 6-10 on the season, the same record as the Phillies. They’re coming off back-to-back losing series against the Orioles and the Twins. While Dylan Cease and Mike Clevinger have been solid to start the year, their other starters (Lynn, Kopech, Giolito) have posted a 6+ ERA in three starts.
Phillies Roster Moves
Ahead of today’s game, the Phils called up Yunior Marte to be the 27th man for the doubleheader.
Marte impressed in Spring Training but struggled earlier this season in the majors while logging a miserable 54.00 ERA over two games, in only one inning of work.
Zack Wheeler vs. Lance Lynn
Zack Wheeler takes the hill for the fourth start of his season looking to build off his best start of the year. Wheeler allowed just one earned run and three hits vs. Miami in an extra-innings loss, striking out six. Wheeler has logged a 4.02 ERA on the year with an 0-1 record and 18 Ks.
Lance Lynn hasn’t had the most ideal start for the Sox, tallying a 7.31 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP in 16 total innings. His last outing was a loss against the Twins, logging six innings while allowing seven hits, three earned runs, and striking out ten.

The Phillies roll out a fairly normal lineup tonight. Stott remains in the leadoff spot, with Josh Harrison in for Edmundo Sosa, who is nursing a non-serious back injury.
