Joel Embiid trolls Nic Claxton and the Nets after Game 3 altercation

The Nets are targeting Joel Embiid, and he knows it. The worst team in the playoffs took it to him physically all night long to try and get him off his game. The tone was set early when Nic Claxton jammed home a lob and tried to step over Joel, who promptly kicked him for his trouble.
Embiid put on a yet another masterclass in his postgame presser when asked about the incident:
Just an absolutely hilarious presser from Embiid. It’s so obvious the Nets are nowhere near good enough to beat the Sixers straight up, and my god did they
As a result, they had to resort to the Toronto Raptors strategy of hacking Embiid pretty much every possession to draw a reaction. It’s wild how they pretty much resorted to using WWE moves on him, and yet they were the ones doing most of the bitching.
I’m a huge supporter of physical basketball, especially in the playoffs. But what we watched Saturday night was hardly basketball.
Nic Claxton would be the biggest loser in basketball if Jacques Vaughn didn’t exist. Unfortunately for them, Nick Nurse got his bitch ass fired in Toronto, so they both moved up a spot to slot into first and second.
Claxton really should be embarrassed with himself. He had an admittedly good game, going 8/9 from the field for 18 points. Sadly, the dumbass threw it all away by excessively staring down Embiid.
Hell, he was a hand gesture away from pulling an Angel Reese. Of course, Nic’s antics got him tossed, which was one of many disciplinary actions doled out throughout the game.
I’ll say this, I don’t think Harden or Embiid should have been ejected. I don’t think Claxton should have either. But no matter how you slice it, he treated 18 points like he clinched a finals game.
Grow up, buddy.
