Bryce Harper was set to meet with his doctors today to get the official ruling on his elbow…and it seems like he’s officially been cleared.
Bryce Harper on IG: “Aye Pham. You ready?”

It’s been a miraculous comeback from Bryce Harper, who received Tommy John surgery on his throwing elbow just two weeks after the conclusion of the World Series.
Harper has been slowly progressing over time since the season started, where he first started with light tee work in the cages. He’s progressed all the way to situational on-field hitting against multiple Phillies pitchers and has started to throw the baseball again, something he hasn’t done since last summer.
The plan for Bryce Harper is to sit in the DH spot for at least a month, but since the injuries to Rhys Hoskins and Darick Hall, Bryce has been determined to learn first base. He’s been taking grounders there ahead of every game and could see some time there once his arm is truly ready to throw in a game.
Once again: this isn’t an official clearance just yet, but it seems like Bryce Harper got some pretty good news today.
The Phillies are back in action tonight as they kick off a 3-game set vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers.
