Fan carted out after falling into bullpen during Red Sox, Phillies game

A spectator fell over a protective railing and into the bullpen in the top of the first inning of the Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Red Sox game at Citizens Bank Park.
The fan fell over the fence out in Ashburn Alley which separates the concourse and the lowered bullpen area while attempting to get a baseball that a player had thrown.Â
Masataka Yoshida was at the plate against Zack Wheeler when José Alvarado ran from the bullpen into the outfield to alert Nick Castellanos.
Medical workers ran out to the second level of the bullpen as Red Sox relievers looked on nearby.
The game resumed after about a 10-minute delay.

Luckily, the fan was alert and responding to medical personnel while being carted out of the bullpen. He was transported to the trauma center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.Â
I saw this live on TV. Such a sad moment. I really hope that the fan is ok after that huge fall.
