Report: Cutter Gauthier is okay after taking a questionable hit in an exhibition game vs Germany

You can breathe now, Flyers fans. Cutter Gauthier is okay.
After taking a dirty hit to the head in United States’ exhibition game against Germany, The Inquirer evidently has word from a USA hockey spokesperson that the 5th overall pick in 2022 is doing fine.
Gauthier had 15G-21A-37P in 32 games as a freshman for Boston College last year. He also went to the WJC-20 in December and put up 4G-6A-10P in 7 games for Team USA.
The kid has played a ton of hockey this year, and with him now on Team USA’s roster for the World Championships, Flyers fans will have plenty of tape to watch this summer.
Cutter being okay after not hearing a peep from anyone for a bit after the hit, is a huge sigh of relief for Philadelphia. He’ll go back to Boston College for his sophomore season with a stud freshman class of Will Smith, Ryan Leonard, and Gabe Perreault. —
All three of those guys are projected first-round picks and one of them could be the Flyers pick at #7 overall.
Gauthier is expected to be ready for the opening game of the worlds on Friday vs FIN.
