Bedlam at the Bank: Bizarre video of Phillies fans goes viral on Twitter raising more questions than answers

The Philadelphia Phillies completed a 2-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays yesterday thanks to a walk-off fielding error that allowed Bryce Harper to reach first base safely while scoring Edmundo Sosa in the bottom of the 10th inning.
The Phillies trailed 1-0 throughout the game until JT Realmuto roped an RBI single to left center to score Bryce Harper in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie the game.

While it was a wild ending to the game, a video from the stands at Citizens Bank Park was all that was being talked about on social media, with a clip posted by Crossing Broad going viral on Twitter.
Phillies Fans Bizarre Viral Video
And there are people out there that say baseball isn’t romantic? Give me a break.
No but seriously, I have a ton of questions about this video and some of them may not be appropriate so if you’re going to be soft about it and pretend you’re offended by my curious brain then just stop reading now.
I really don’t have time to argue with the comment section on this article like I had to do when saying the Chicago Cubs fans who ended up falling in love should kick rocks.
Question: Are these two women sex workers and/or strippers?
This is a valid question because the behavior and outfit is extremely aggressive and really doesn’t make sense at all for a baseball game on a Wednesday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park.
You have an older gentleman in a Powder Blue Bryce Harper jersey, and then two females, one of which is standing in front of the other that’s seated and wearing a bucket hat.
Is it possible that this guy decided to have a day out with two strippers or sex workers and thought going to a Phillies game would be a good idea?
That’s probably the most likely scenario here and honestly, while it may be an aggressive move, I don’t really have anything negative to say about it.
Still, I would like to know why this guy would ever go to Philadelphia Phillies game with a not one, but two women in the middle of the day? It’s a wild move for sure and not something I would have done but I’m not going to tell people how to spend their hard earned money.
Why is this happening in the stands?
This is the standard question when videos like these pop up on the internet.
Why on earth would the bucket hat girl allow this to happen while surrounded by other fans in the seats and why is that woman doing this with no situational or self-awareness?
As I always say, if you’re at this point where you can’t act civil in a social setting like an afternoon baseball game, then you just need to leave the game and go somewhere else.
Back to the car, a hotel room, back indoors at your house or apartment. It doesn’t matter. Just can’t happen in the stands.
Wait a second, is that a dude?
I don’t know why I have this weird feeling that the woman standing over the bucket hat girl is actually a dude but something about her is giving me major male energy.
I don’t have a problem with it but like I said, we’re going to ask all the questions in this post and that’s certainly one of them.
It would also be hilarious if that actually was a dude while all the “Reply Guys” on Twitter under the video make sexual comments about her, asking for her OnlyFans, and wondering if someone can track her down on Twitter.
That would be one hell of a sexual awakening for everyone involved.
Why is there little-to-no reaction from surrounding fans?
You have to respect the rally cap kid. The Phillies won yesterday’s in extras and it looks like our guy here is the unsung hero who started the ninth inning rally from The Fightins. He won’t get the credit he deserves but I wanted to make sure that there are people who noticed and thank him for his service.
We should also shoutout the older couple a row behind this madness minding their damn business and trying to enjoy a day at the ball park. These two never even look over. They are completely focused on the game and want nothing to do with what’s happening literally a few feet in front of them. I respect that.
I do however, find it somewhat bizarre that not a single person said anything to these people in 50 seconds of this video.
Does that seem somewhat weird to anyone else?
The guy down in front of the two women is trying his best to stay focused on what’s in front of him but keeps getting bumped into. That takes a level of patience I certainly wouldn’t have which puts him in the category of every other fan just sitting there and not really acknowledging what’s happening.
I mean seriously, the guy in the green hat is directly behind them and doesn’t even flinch. It’s almost like a glitch in the matrix and none of this is actually happening. Very bizarre.
Go to a Phillies game or any sporting event and stand up in the middle of a row over top someone, bounce around, and block the view of fans sitting behind you. See how that works out. My guess, it wouldn’t work out too well, unless everyone who has their view blocked is actually just enjoying the view?
